Environmental awareness on social media

One of the most prominent issues on the news today is global warming and climate change. You can't flip through the channels on TV or your phone without hearing about it. Whether it's a new save the earth protest in DC or a new scientific study done proving the claim further. The younger generation has confused their wide support over social media for the environment as real activism when it really isn't. This issue is as complex as the solution will be. It's hard to truly inspire active chnage, especially with the short attention spans of youth and the fast paced internet.
